M & L Core Services
Community Development
M&L provides technical support to local, county and state governmental
grantees that receive federal funding in the form of Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)
assistance from HUD.
We specialize in the preparation of documents for submission to HUD such as
the annual Consolidated Plan, performance reports, environmental review records
and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing. M&L's provision of these
services eases the burden on local practitioners, permitting client staff to
focus on the successful and timely implementation of projects.
Beyond the preparation of documents for submission to HUD, M&L provides a
variety of ongoing technical support services that our clients utilize on an as
needed basis. These services are primarily designed to assist grantee
communities in complying with the complex requirements of HUD's CDBG, HOME and ESG
Programs.
M&L has been involved with HUD's CDBG, HOME and ESG programs since their
inception. Our services have been retained by both metropolitan cities and urban
counties as well as participants in the Small Cities program. Our expertise and
background in the technical aspects of these HUD programs is unsurpassed.
