Mr. Finnstrom joined Mullin & Lonergan Associates, Inc. in 2004. He is a graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington with a degree in Economics. Mr. Finnstrom earned his Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Pittsburgh. His experience encompasses comprehensive planning, meeting facilitation, economic research and analysis, real estate predevelopment, grant writing, and community development. Mr. Finnstrom is responsible for the preparation of neighborhood revitalization plans and redevelopment plans and is an expert in HUD’s CDBG program. In addition, he has developed downtown revitalization plans, Elm Street neighborhood plans, and Enterprise Zone applications.
Prior to joining M&L, Mr. Finnstrom served as an associate with EPD, worked as the Director of Research and Planning with East Liberty Development, Inc. on housing, planning, redevelopment, and real estate predevelopment packaging, and served as a Community Development Specialist with the Pittsburgh Partnership for Neighborhood Development (PPND).
